Top: Thrifted, Dress: Forever 21, Boots: Coconuts

I wore this outfit back on Memorial Day a few weeks ago. Something about blue plaid, a white dress and cowboy boots felt perfect for the holiday. I've been pairing tops over dresses like crazy lately. It's such an easy way to mix up a wardrobe when your limited on shopping. I've decided that blue and white is my favorite color combo, at least for now. I start my second job today, I'm going to be a server for this company that's about half an hour from my house and I'm excited to fill up my days a little more. This summer just seems to be dragging and there's a lot of days filled with nothing to do.

Two for Tuesday

This year is the year of graduations. My dad graduated from college, my sister had her 8th grade graduation and then the pictures featured here are Derek's graduation from college and my little brother's graduation from high school. 

I'm so proud of Derek, I remember when we were 15 and not even really thinking about college and now he's a college graduate! He's so talented at graphic design and I know he's going to go so far with anything that he does. 

I'm also so proud of my little brother. It doesn't seem like that long ago we were running around in West Virginia and North Carolina barefoot playing things like tag, hide and seek and baseball with our friends. He starts college in the Fall and I'm so excited for the opportunities he has ahead. 

Summer Shift

Dress: Free People, Shoes: Target, Necklace: Calico-Spiked Necklace in Antique Gold {Similar}

Things just were not exactly working out when i was trying to take these. It was incredibly windy and bright outside but hey, it was the only time during the day I would get a chance to take these and you work with what you got. This is one of my favorite dresses ever and it's Free People so that makes sense. I actually found it at a consignment shop for only $30. The colors are so perfect for summer and I love how flowy it is, as you can tell from these windy pictures. Also, I recently got this necklace from Calico and I've been pairing it with almost everything.

I'm ready for the week ahead, I work everyday except for today and Thursday so I'm feeling good about working again. Tonight is Derek's graduation and I'm so incredibly proud of him. I'm so excited to see him in his cap and gown. I love that he found a career path that he really loves, plus I'm super jealous that he's so awesome at graphic design. That's something I hope I can eventually learn a little bit of.

Cat Lady

Top: Forever 21, Skirt: American Eagle, Shoes: Zara, Sunglasses: New York and Company

I'm always on the lookout for cute cat prints. It was one of my favorite trends from last Fall and this top was one of my favorite finds from Forever 21. Sheer tops are a must for this warmer weather. I've mixed this top with other prints as well, but my go-to is this top with a simple black skirt and edgy heels. Zara seriously is my favorite place for heels, I can't get over this studded pair, I could seriously wear them with anything.
